It still feels like summer here, but fall is right around the corner and a few leaves are already starting to change colors. This is one of my favorite times of year in Wisconsin! Trips to the apple orchard, apple pie, hiking at Devil’s Lake, and watching my daughter play flag football are just a few of the things I’m looking forward to this fall.
Fall images and colors are great for making cards for men! Leaves, acorns, footballs… reds, oranges, browns and yellows… great ingredients for making cards for the men in your life. Here is an example of a nice fall themed card that you could make for a birthday. Or simply change the greeting for any fall occasion.
The new Autumn Accents Die for the Big Shot makes cutting out leaf shapes in any color a breeze. You can cut up to 3 sheets of card stock at a time, so cut a bunch and have them ready for all your fall projects. For this card, I crumpled up the leaves in my hand to give them added texture. Sponging the edges is also a great way to give them added dimension.
