Valentine Purse

To make this cute Valentine Treat Purse, cut a 4” X 11” piece of Pixie Pink card stock. Score along the 11″ side at 1-1/8”, 5”, 6” & 10”.   Round the 1-1/8” end using the Oval template from the Coluzzle Cutting System. Randomly stamp the flower from Happy Heart Day in VersaMark ink on the outside of the purse.  On the 1″ flap, stamp “Happy Heart Day” in Basic Black ink.  Fill a Medium Cello Bag with candy, fold over the top so that it fits in the purse with the top under the 1″ flap.  Staple in place at…

A Quick Gift Idea

Here’s a real quick gift idea – wrap some Designer Series paper around a jar and secure with sticky strip.  I also used sticky strip to attach the red grosgrain ribbon around the lid of the jar and used a mini glue dot to attach a button over the seam of the ribbon.  Fill the jar with candy, buttons or other small items and it’s ready to give.  What a great way to recycle jars! Think Happy Thoughts and Circle Punches

For a quick gift, make some 3×3 gift cards and a matching gift box to put them in.  (Click here for directions on how to make the box.)  For the cards shown here, I used one of my favorite stamp sets. Think Happy Thoughts has a variety of different sayings and coordinates perfectly with all of the Stampin’ Up! circle punches. Stampin’ Up!’s Simply Sent Kits are great for the beginning stamper, or anyone that is short on time and/or creativity.  When the Fall-Winter Collection was released in July, the Happy Day Simply Sent Kit was the first that I HAD to have.  I just love the simple, all-occasion stamps that come in it – not to mention that they are DIE-CUT so all you have to do is pop the stamps out and stick them to the wood blocks.  I also thought it was a great way to try out the new Rhinestone brads and re-acquaint myself with the pastels. …
