My daughter Rachel helped me make this banner for her room.  Our inspiration was the “happy” banner on page 23 of the Fall/Winter 2007 Stampin’ Up! catalog.  We used the Flowers for You Designer Series paper, Fairy Tale Ribbon Originals, some miscellaneous grosgrain ribbon and the On Board Simon Lower chipboard.  Rachel is only 3, but she picked the pattern that she wanted on each letter and traced each letter with a pencil.   I cut them out, used a glue stick to attach them to the chipboard and then sanded the edges with fine sand paper.   To thread the letters onto a piece of hemp, I punched two holes in each letter with the Crop-a-Dile.  Finally we added some ribbon between the letters and hung it on her wall.

That banner is so cute! What a good idea. I’m impressed with how much Rachel could help with it, too. Love the website Jessica!
