How to Use Rub-Ons

By | Cards, Techniques | No Comments

Stampin’ Up!’s new Rub-Ons are made to cling to surfaces that you might normally have difficulty stamping on – glass, tin, plastic, photographs, buttons, textured card stock, felt, cello bags, ribbon and chipboard too! How to use them: 1. Cut out the image that you want to use, including the backing. 2.  Peel the backing off your image and place it on your project where you want the image to be.  (Note: Tape your image in place on surfaces like glass and when using a larger image.) 3.  Rub evenly and thoroughly over the entire image with the wooden stick,…

More Birthday Cards

For those of you that missed a fabulous time at the Birthday Bash last Saturday, here are the projects that we made. Many people chose to make the Eat Cake project into a card instead of the gift bag shown here.  Either way it is cute!  Running the Ballet Blue card stock through the Crimper really adds depth and texture. The Bugs & Kisses card is super easy and great for kids.  It uses a strip of the new Jersey Shore Designer Series paper.   The idea for the Go Team card came directly from page 79 of the Spring-Summer…

Valentine Bundle Ideas

By | 3-D Items, Cards | No Comments

Looking for some cute, fun and SWEET Valentine Ideas? All of the samples shown here were made using the Happy Heart Day stamp set and other items from the Valentine Bundle. The Scallop Circle Punch is my absolute favorite punch right now. I use it on everything!  Here I taped a Real Red Scallop Circle to each side of a flat sucker and tied some wide Real Red grosgrain ribbon around the stick. The Scallop Circles are all decorated with the flower from Happy Heart Day stamped in Basic Black and colored in with the Pretty in Pink and Real…
