Happy New Year!

By | Cards | No Comments

Here’s a quick card I made to send to a few people that didn’t get Christmas cards this year.  It is a 3″x6″ card made by folding a 6″x6″ piece of Blue Bayou textured card stock in half and has a strip of the Soft Sky Prints Designer Series paper. The NEW Spring-Summer catalog will be available on-line tomorrow, so be sure to check back for the link and a great January special!

Rub-Ons Tips

By | Techniques | No Comments

I started playing with my new Rub-Ons yesterday and wow are they fun and easy to use!  First cut out the one that you want, peel off the backing and put the rub-on down on the surface you want to adhere it to.  Rub the wooden stick across the top and gently peel off the top protective piece. For a quick gift, make some 3×3 gift cards and a matching gift box to put them in.  (Click here for directions on how to make the box.)  For the cards shown here, I used one of my favorite stamp sets. Think Happy Thoughts has a variety of different sayings and coordinates perfectly with all of the Stampin’ Up! circle punches. After stamping a circle image, turn a 1-1/4″ circle punch upside down, center the stamped image inside the circle and punch.  Layer on a 1-3/8″ circle punched with coordinating card stock.  The flower stamp fits perfectly in the 3/4″…
