For Peep’s Sake Easter Card

By March 12, 2015Cards, Easter

The days are getting longer and warmer and spring is almost here! This time of rebirth is one of my favorites and it brings with it some fun spring colors. My favorite colors for making spring cards are Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana. They look great together and on their own!

Here’s a fun Easter card I made with the For Peep’s Sake stamp set for the Spring One Sheet Wonder Class. No special tools involved in making it and it has a nice easy layout that you could use with just about any stamp set you have.

For Peeps Sake Easter Card by Jessica Taylor

Paper Sizes:
Calypso Coral: 4-1/4” x 11” (card base) and 2-5/8” x 3-3/8”
Whisper White: 2-3/8” x 3-1/8” and 4” x 5-1/4”
Wave Patterned Paper: 2″ x 4″

Tips for Making This Card:

  • Use your Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the eggs on the bottom of the card so you get them in a straight line.
  • Use ribbon to cover the top seam of your patterned paper. Just wrap the ends around to the back of the white card stock and tape into place, then tape the entire white piece to your card base so the ribbon stays in place. No bulky knots to irritate the postal machines!
  • Add interest by changing the main rectangle greeting with a fun shape using your punches or framelits.
